Dalapchand Aritar Lake, the surrounding area is a cluster of rich green pine trees which adds to the enchanting nature of the lake. There are big boulders in the middle of the pathway surrounding the lakes, history has it that the laborers who were constructing the pathway had tried to break the rock when all of a sudden thunder and rains disturbed the work, and later that night one of the laborers met with unnatural death, as a result of which the rock was kept intact and a small temple of guru Padmasambhava was built on top of it where prayers are offered every day by the locals.
